Doctors Love Their Automobiles

Doctors were early adopters of the "horseless carriage". As early as 1897, Dr. Carlos Booth, of Youngstown, Ohio, was using a motor car in his medical practice.
It's no surprise that automobile manufacturers advertised heavily in medical journals. The Cadillac AD below was published in 1908.
